Watched the DVD

I watched the DVD today that I got with my membership.

After viewing the Promo Movie and really paying attention to the details in the Movie I can now understand why the big 3 put Tucker out of Business, they were afraid of loosing Billions of Dollars trying to catch up with Tuckers Car's technology.

It is a shame that everything He invented did not make it to production to many Decades later.

Just imagine if he did make the car the way he intended what our cars would now be like today.

Awesome Movie!

Remember this!

Mark, I'm glad you enjoyed the DVD, but remember it was produced by "Hollywood". Some of the events presented actually occurred, though a little differently than shown, but a lot of the movie was fictionalized for dramatic effect, too. It was based on a true story, but the producers embellished and omitted and rewrote the story as Hollywood does with its movies. Larry Clark has done extensive research into what actually happened in the Tucker organization back then, and has published some of his findings in our "Tucker Topics" newsletter, as well as in his own book "The Tucker Chronology Project". You should also refer to "Design and Destiny" by Phil Egan and "The Indomitable Tin Goose" by Charles Pearson. These should give you a good perspective of the Tucker story.
Have fun!

You are kind in your remarks, John. Several years ago the club posted on this web site my scene-by-scene account of the movie. It can be found by going to the home page, click the "History" button on the Tucker radio head and then click the linked web page embedded in the second paragraph. In the alternative, just click on the site here: http://www.tuckerclub.org/html/movieinfo.html
